Goal Setting
Introduction
Everybody
should know the importance of goals setting because selecting a target is how
your life will change on a personal way or professional way, and they come with
questions like “what success looks like to you?”, “what do you want to archive?”,
“what I want to be?”, it requires a string will to stop saying “someday I will
do it”, and there is more useful ways to think about setting goals.
Body
Usually
goal setting starts up asking questions like, “how does success looks like?”, “what
do you want to achieve?”.
If
we are serious about achieving our goals, however, we should start with a much
different question. Rather than considering what kind of success we want, we
should ask, “What kind of pain do I want?”
The
first step is to choose the path these are some examples:
If
you’re a writer, your goal is to write a book, the system to archive that
target is the writing schedule that you follow each week. On a runner, is to
run a marathon, the system for it it’s the training schedule for the month.
The
next step is to believe it, this means that all the words that you’re going to
say must be like e.g. if you want to
leave smoking then you’ve to say “I’m not a smoker”, if you want to be doctor,
then you’ve to say “I’m going to be a doctor” and said it loud, the
self-confidence and accepting that you can change are the key in this process.
Another
important point it’s that sometimes we forget the target we have because of a
new goal and they will be competing for time and attention, it’s highly recommended
to focus only on one goal.
But
the mayor issue could be the excuses, they always going to affect our systems by
delaying out schedules and practices to reach the goal, the path of the goal
setting need to be consistently pruned and trimmed.
Conclusion:
Goals
are the most meaning cycle of our life because they let us to experience the
joy after completed it, we can archive many goals, but they must be archived
one at a time, also they are going to mark a growth level of personal or in many
areas of life but goals are not going to be archived alone it requires to push
hard enough to make progress, it’s painful and exhaustive but at the end we
will have joy all the achievements that we have made.
